The new Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo has been received with critical acclaim, with the likes of TopGear stating “The Cross Turismo is the most complete fast estate available today”.
1 – All Taycan Cross Turismo Models are All-Wheel Drive as Standard
Befitting its ‘lifestyle vehicle’ positioning, all Taycan Cross Turismo models feature All-Wheel Drive as standard, perfect for tackling whatever the Great British weather throws your way. Unique to the Taycan Cross Turismo, you also have access to a ‘Gravel mode’ which optimises traction on loose surfaces, ensuring you can keep going, even when off the beaten track.
2 – Up to 30mm more ground clearance than the Taycan Sports Saloon
As standard, the Taycan Cross Turismo benefits from 20mm more ground clearance than the Taycan. With the optional off-road design package, this grows to 30mm more ground clearance, as well as featuring integrated off-road design flaps for the lower valance, sideskirts and rear diffuser.
3 – The Taycan Cross Turismo benefits from the ‘Performance Battery Plus’ as standard
The Taycan battery exploits its huge potential by means of pouch cells, which are chemically optimised for a long range with maximum performance. The Performance Battery Plus, which comes as standard on all models of the Taycan Cross Turismo, features 33 modules with a total of 396 cells.
The battery is also based on 800-volt technology instead of the usual 400 volts, providing improved charging and drive performance, with a lower weight impact compared with rival battery systems. The cooling system ensures that the drive is optimally supplied with energy in any situation. Safety at Porsche is paramount, and therefore the Taycan Cross Turismo also features an extremely robust battery frame which ensures maximum safety even in the event of an accident.
