A growing network of ultra-high power DC chargers allow the Porsche Taycan to charge at up to 270kW. This can provide an additional 62 miles of range in under six minutes. The new Porsche Charging Service offers convenient access to an expanding network of charging operators across Europe. Intelligent home charging solutions and an 11kW on-board AC charger allow the Taycan to charge overnight, and make use of cheaper electricity or solar power.
Charging on the road
When purchasing a Taycan, you will receive three years access to the ultra-high speed charging infrastructure with our joint venture partner, IONITY. The partnership means that you are able to charge your Taycan at preferential prices. IONITY chargers can provide up to 62 miles of range in under six minutes (WLTP) under optimum conditions. Porsche Turbo Charging is available at Porsche Centre Exeter.
Porsche Charging Services
With the Porsche Charging Service, you can conveniently charge your Taycan at thousands of publically accessible locations across the UK and Europe, using an RFID card or app to activate your charging session. Billing is made simple via your My Porsche account.
Charging at Home
You can use the Mobile Charger Plus, connected to your mains supply, as the standard way to charge your Taycan.
The Porsche Charging Dock is an elegant and secure wall mounting for the Porsche Mobile Charger Connect.
Installing the Mobile Charger Plus or the Mobile Charger Connect at your home is made simple by using our recommended provider for home installations services, Andersen EV. They can provide you with a bespoke quotation to install the hardware in your preferred location.
