Fashions change, but true style is timeless and the latest special edition from Porsche proves it. The new 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design Edition is inspired by two classics: the very first Porsche, the 356, and the original 911 Targa. This special edition Porsche exudes the style and character that made these two models so enduring, embodying the emotion, spirit and lifestyle of the late 50s and early 60s.
Using the latest generation 911 Targa 4S as the basis and building on the success of the Heritage package of the 911 Speedster, the Heritage Design Edition brings together exclusive features for a unique product, limited to just 992 units.
From the first look, this is clearly a model with heritage. The new Cherry Metallic paint, with its subtle brown component, mirrors 1950s style and complements detailed flourishes, such as the gold-coloured ‘targa’ lettering on the distinctive Silver Targa bar, the original 1963 Crest and a special Porsche Heritage badge.
The front wings have a high-quality white film wrap, echoing the ‘spears’ paint finish from 50s motorsport, and as you walk around the Targa you’ll see the sporty theme continue: 911 Carrera Exclusive Design wheels in Black (high-gloss), Black (high-gloss) brake calipers, Silver Sports tailpipes and even the option of your own start number.
Inside you’ll notice more tributes to this era of vintage style. Rich corduroy panels on the seats and doors and two-tone leather upholstery imbue this model with the spirit of the age, embellished by the 1963 Crest on the headrests and steering wheel. The instrument cluster is no exception, combining modern elements with classic touches, such as the analogue rev counter and green scale markings that first appeared in the Porsche 356.
The new 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design Edition. Timeless Machine.
